English language exemption for some 457 visa holders

Since 19 April 2016 subclass 457 visa applicants are exempted from the English language requirement if they have already been granted an occupational licensing, registration or membership to practice in the nominated occupation in Australia and that licensing, registration or membership required an equivalent or higher English language proficiency.
