Notifications by 457 visa sponsors

From 1 January 2016 approved sponsors, and certain former sponsors, of 457 and other relevant visa holders will need to notify of notifiable events to a centralised email address:

sponsor.notifications@border.gov.au.

Formerly notifications would need to be made to the relevant state or territory DIBP office where the sponsor’s head office was located. The centralised system will make it easier for sponsors to ensure that they are notifying to the correct address.

Notifications may also be made by registered post to specified addresses in each state.
