NSW processing times for Business Talent visas
The Subclass 132 Business Talent (Permanent) visa allows business persons to establish or develop business in Australia through either the Significant Business History stream (for business owners wanting to do business in Australia) or the Venture Capital Entrepreneur stream (for people who have sourced venture capital funding from a member of the Australian Venture Capital Association Limited (AVCAL)).
The NSW Department of Industry has announced improved processing time standards for the Business Talent (Permanent) visa (subclass 132). The new standards include:
5 business days for initial assessment and feedback, and
8 weeks for outcome confirmation.
The new processing times take effect from 29 January 2016.
